<title>New 26YM colours for iconic Monkey 125, ST125 Dax and Super Cub C125</title>

New colourways for Hondas miniature icons inject fresh spirit for 2026

Monkey set to breach cumulative 25,000 sales in 2026 since its return to the range

Three of Hondas most visually distinctive and iconic models receive new visual options for their 2026-year model iterations.

Since its reintroduction in 2023, the ST125 Dax has won over thousands of customers with its sympathetic update of the 60s original. The preservation of the Daxs spirit continues into 26YM, with the iconic T-shaped frame, tall handlebars and the small yet chunky 12-inch wheels and is freshened up with two new colour choices. Pearl Horizon White and Candy Energy Orange join Pearl Shining Black in the line-up.

Its 125cc pocket-sized sibling, the Monkey 125, also sees similar revisions for 25YM, with an all-new colour line-up. Three new colour combinations adorn the iconic pocket bike. Powder Black Metallic over a Mat Gun Powder Black Metallic frame is joined by a striking Knight Silver Metallic over Millennium Red combination. Rounding out the new lineup is a Pearl Himalayas White over a Banana Yellow frame arrangement which injects an even more playful character into the bike.

Despite their diminutive sizes, the returning Dax and Monkey icons have resonated strongly with Europe customers, with the two accumulating over 16,000 sales in Europe since the reintroduction of the Dax in 2023. The Monkey, since its reintroduction to the European market in 2018, has reached a cumulative sales total of almost 25,000 units.

Building on its legacy as the most produced motor vehicle in history, the Super Cub C125 rolls in to 2026 with an all-new colour - a chic combination of Premium Silver Metallic over Pearl Sugarcane Beige finished with a two-tone brown and cream leather seat.

    <link>https://www.staffordshirehonda.co.uk/news/vibrant-new-colour-and-graphic-options-for-26ym-honda-crf1100l-africa-twin-and-crf1100l-africa-twin-adventure-sports</link>

New colours for all variants 26YM Africa Twin expand the current offerings

Consistently one of Hondas best-selling motorcycles since its reintroduction

More than 121,000 models bearing the Africa Twin name sold since 2016

Hondas flagship adventurer, the CRF1100L Africa Twin, arrives in 2026 with a range of updated graphics and colours, bringing further appeal to the enduringly popular adventure bike. Its a package that has already won legions of fans, with over 121,000 units bearing the Africa Twin name sold since its reintroduction to the European market in 2016. For six of those years since its reintroduction, the Africa Twin has been in Hondas top three selling models over 125cc.

Mechanically unchanged for 26YM, all the CRF1100L Africa Twin models retain their trademark athletic looks, with the aura and feel of a slim rally machine. The 1,084cc parallel twin cylinder engine still produces peak torque of 112Nm with peak power of 75kW to offer exhilarating performance both on and offroad. All models retain the option of Hondas pioneering and ever-evolving Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) an option taken up by almost half of all Africa Twin customers in 2025 alone.

The CRF1100L Africa Twin itself will continue to be available in two variants Africa Twin and Africa Twin Electronic Suspension. As the names suggest, the differences pertain to the suspension types: the standard model is equipped with fully adjustable Showa suspension, and the Electronic Suspension model utilise Showas Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa EERATM), which offers optimised damping in all riding conditions, as well as the ability to change rear pre-load on the move. The Electronic Suspension models also feature extended spec lists, boasting heated grips and an ACC socket.

Sitting proudly alongside the Africa Twin is the CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports variant, which offers even longer range (508km against 385km) thanks to its 24.8 litre fuel tank, and a 19 front wheel that further elevates on-road handling.

The 26YM CRF1100L Africa Twin and Africa Twin Electronic Suspension will both be available in three paint options:

*NEW* Grand Prix Red with revised frame colour and bolder graphics

*NEW* Matt Ballistic Black Metallic with revised frame colour and gold accents

*NEW* Pearl Glare White with revised frame colour, Tricolore graphics

The 25YM CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports will be available in two paint options:

*NEW* Matt Iridium Gray Metallic with revised frame colour, prominent graphic set and gold wheels

*NEW* Pearl Glare White New take on the classic HRC Tricolore with bold graphics and gold wheels

    <title>Honda’s New 2026 CB1000GT: Fireblade Heart, First-Class Touring</title>
    <link>https://www.staffordshirehonda.co.uk/news/hondas-new-2026-cb1000gtfireblade-heart-first-class-touring</link>
    <description>
Honda has officially pulled the covers off the 2026 CB1000GT, a fully-equipped sport-tourer that drops a Fireblade-derived engine and serious electronics into a long-distance package aimed squarely at riders who want faster, more distance, more comfort in one bike. Unveiled at EICMA 2025 and confirmed for the UK and Europe, it sits above the NT1100 and alongside the new CB1000 Hornet as Hondas flagship road-going four-cylinder tourer.

        Fireblade DNA for the Road

At the heart of the CB1000GT is a 9991000cc inline-four, derived from the 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade superbike but reworked heavily for road and touring use. Power is quoted at 110.1 kW (about 148 bhp) at 11,000rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 8,750rpm, putting it firmly in the serious but usable category rather than outright track missile.

Key points:

1000cc, liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four
Throttle-by-wire with multiple engine maps
Claimed output: 148 bhp / 110.1 kW, 102 Nm
6-speed gearbox with assist-and-slipper clutch and up/down quickshifter as standard

This setup provides superbike excitement but with road-biased tuning, allowing relaxed motorway cruising and responsive acceleration during overtakes.

        High-End Chassis With Electronic Suspension

Honda equips the CB1000GT with Showa EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) suspension front and rear.

Chassis components:

41mm Showa EERA electronically adjustable USD forks
Showa EERA rear shock with electronic damping and preload
Twin 310mm front discs with Nissin radial calipers
Cornering ABS supported by a 6-axis IMU
Traction control, wheelie control, and engine-brake management

With a kerb weight of around 229 kg, the geometry favours stability and all-day comfort while still being agile enough for spirited riding.

Modern Electronics and Rider Aids Standard

Honda has given the CB1000GT a full suite of premium electronicsmany of which are optional extras on rival models.

Standard features include:

Four riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Tour, plus a User mode
Cornering ABS
Multi-level traction control
Wheelie control
Cruise control
Up/down quickshifter
Emergency stop signal (flashes indicators under hard braking)

A 5-inch full-colour TFT display handles all instrumentation and supports smartphone connectivity through Honda RoadSync for navigation, calls, and media. A USB-C charging port, keyless ignition, and auto-cancelling indicators are also included.

Built for Touring From Day One

Unlike many sport-tourers, the CB1000GT comes tour-ready straight out of the crate.

Touring equipment includes:

Adjustable touring windscreen
Factory-matched hard panniers
Heated grips
Knuckle guards
Centre stand

The 21-litre fuel tank and efficient engine tuning allow for long ranges between fill-ups, making it suitable for serious cross-country travel.

Ergonomics favour an upright riding position with a wide fairing designed to reduce wind fatigue over long journeys.

    <title>Honda’s 2026 Electric Two-Wheeler Line-Up: WN7, CUV e: &amp; EM1 e:</title>
    <link>https://www.staffordshirehonda.co.uk/news/hondas-2026-electric-two-wheeler-line-upwn7-cuv-eand-em1-e%3A</link>
    <description>
Hondas shift to electrified two-wheeler mobility takes a meaningful step in 2026, with the arrival of three distinct electric models: the full-size electric motorcycle WN7, the urban commuter scooter CUV e:, and the entry-level EM1 e:. Together they mark the transition from pilot EVs toward an actual electric range.

        WN7 The Flagship Electric Streetfighter

The WN7 stands as the headline act of Hondas 2026 EV expansion-a fully fledged electric streetfighter built with the performance, presence, and precision normally reserved for petrol-powered midweight motorcycles. Designed as a big bike first, electric second, the WN7 delivers authentic motorcycle dynamics with instant torque, advanced rider aids, and fast-charging capability that makes daily electric riding realistic. Its Hondas boldest statement yet that the future of performance riding doesnt have to burn a drop of fuel.

Key Details:

Powered by a fixed lithium-ion battery of around 9.3 kWh.
Claimed range around 140 km under WMTC testing for the higher-output version.
Equipped with CCS2 fast-charging, capable of charging from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes using a suitable DC charger.
Motor delivers up to 50 kW peak power and around 100 Nm of torque depending on version.
Top speed approximately 129 km/h in the full-power configuration, with an A1-compliant variant offering slightly lower output.
Equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, multiple riding modes (Standard, Sport, Rain/Econ), traction control and Honda RoadSync connectivity.
Built on a full motorcycle chassis including Showa suspension, Nissin brakes with cornering ABS, and belt final drive.

The WN7 marks Hondas move into performance-capable electric motorcycles rather than low-speed urban EVs, giving riders a real alternative to mid-capacity petrol bikes.

CUV e: The Smart, Urban Multi-Role Commuter

Purpose-built for the future of city travel, the CUV e: is Hondas intelligent solution for the modern commuter. Balancing swappable-battery convenience with the speed and stability needed for real urban mobility, it occupies the sweet spot between lightweight mopeds and conventional 125cc scooters. With smooth acceleration, advanced connectivity, and a design shaped for dense city environments, the CUV e: is the practical electric tool that fits effortlessly into everyday life.

Key Details:

Produces up to 6 kW of power and around 22 Nm of torque.
Top speed around 83 km/h, making it suitable for city ring roads and mixed urban traffic.
Uses two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: swappable batteries, totalling roughly 2.6 kWh.
Offers a range above 70 km in WMTC testing.
A full charge for each removable battery takes approximately 6 hours, with mid-range top-ups taking less.
Features include a flat floor, LED lighting, smart key, and updated Honda RoadSync connectivity.
Designed for practicality with generous storage options and a tight turning radius for dense city environments.

This model is aimed at commuters who want higher performance than the EM1 e: but still value the convenience of removable batteries.

EM1 e: The Friendly, Accessible City Starter EV

The EM1 e: remains Hondas most approachable electric two-wheeler, compact, simple, and perfectly suited to short, frequent urban trips. Light, quiet, and easy to handle, it offers a gentle entry into electric riding for students, inner-city commuters, and newcomers to two wheels. With a removable battery, effortless charging, and zero-hassle maintenance, the EM1 e: is designed to make electric mobility as straightforward as possible.

Key Details:

Powered by a hub motor producing around 1.7 kW peak power and roughly 90 Nm of wheel torque.
Equipped with a single Mobile Power Pack e: removable battery weighing about 10 kg.
Range is approximately 30 km WMTC, with up to around 48 km in ECON mode under Honda internal testing.
Charging time from 0100% is around 6 hours using the standard home charger.
Light, compact and agile, with a kerb weight around 95 kg including the battery.
Very city-friendly with a low seat height, simple controls and quiet operation.

The EM1 e: is sharply focused on short-distance commuting, student travel, or daily trips within dense urban areas.

    <link>https://www.staffordshirehonda.co.uk/news/honda-reveals-the-2026-cb500-hornet-with-new-e-clutch-technology</link>
    <description>
Honda has officially updated its middleweight lineup with the launch of the 2026 CB500 Hornet, bringing fresh styling, improved performance, and one of Hondas newest innovations, the E-Clutch system to the popular 500cc segment.

The CB500 Hornet continues Hondas push toward lightweight, high-value bikes that appeal to new riders, commuters, and experienced riders seeking a fun, agile machine with modern features.

New E-Clutch Debuts in the 500cc Class

One of the biggest upgrades for 2026 is Hondas optional E-Clutch, introduced for the first time on the CB500 Hornet. This system combines the ease of an automatic clutch with the control of a manual gearbox.

E-Clutch advantages:

Enables clutch-less starts, stops, and low-speed manoeuvres
Riders can still use the clutch lever normally whenever they want
Reduces fatigue in city traffic and daily commuting
Works seamlessly with the standard 6-speed gearbox
Provides smoother, more controlled engagement than a traditional manual clutch

This makes the CB500 Hornet more accessible to new riders while adding premium convenience for experienced ones.

    Revised Styling and Lightweight Performance

The 2026 CB500 Hornet continues the sharp, aggressive design language of the Hornet family, featuring:

Muscular fuel tank with compact side shrouds
LED lighting throughout
Lightweight chassis for agile urban handling
41mm upside-down forks
Sporty riding position with improved ergonomics

The familiar 471cc parallel-twin engine remains at the heart of the bike, delivering smooth, reliable power that makes it ideal for commuting, weekend rides, and entry-level sport performance.

Technology &amp; Connectivity A Modern Riding Experience

Honda equips the 2026 CB500 Hornet with a full-colour 5-inch TFT display and its RoadSync connectivity system. Riders can access navigation, calls, messages and media controls directly from their handlebars. Safety tech such as Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) ensures confidence in adverse conditions.

Key points:

5-inch full-colour TFT display with modern UI.
Honda RoadSync: navigation, calls, messages and media control.
Back-lit switchgear for better night-time usability.
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) enhances safety.
A tech package rarely seen in the 500cc class.

    A2-Friendly and Rider-Focused

As an A2-compliant machine in Europe, the CB500 Hornet continues to be one of the most accessible first big bikes available. The addition of the E-Clutch further broadens its appeal by offering riders an easier way to enjoy manual motorcycling without sacrificing control.

Honda has today showcased the additions to its rich and varied line-up for 2026 at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, headlined by the new CB1000GT sports tourer and Hondas first electric motorcycle, the Honda WN7. Alongside the two new models, Honda also proudly presents its V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype powered by a new V3 engine with electronically-controlled compressor, which showcases the progress in development of this world-first* engine technology in a stunning new chassis package. Further evidence of Hondas continued drive to deliver innovative technologies to riders of all types comes in the form of the addition of the unique Honda E-Clutch technology to five of the most popular motorcycles in its range. With the first European appearance of the new CB1000F, significantly updated SH125, new EV branding and a new apparel line, once again Honda is underlining its commitment to meet the needs of riders with the widest, deepest model line-up in the motorcycle industry.

CB1000GT

The new CB1000GT sports tourer expands Hondas range with a model for those looking for a fully-equipped, technology-rich motorcycle capable of covering long-distances in supreme comfort and ready to deliver high thrills when the highway stops and the twisties begin. Using the Fireblade-derived engine that also powers the CB1000 Hornet, the GT brings both a sporty edge and supreme long-distance comfort thanks to its aggressive design lines, Showa EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) suspension, and CFD-driven bodywork that optimises both aerodynamic efficiency and weather protection. The rich list of standard equipment also includes throttle-by-wire, rear panniers, Cornering ABS working through a six-axis IMU, knuckle guards, centre stand, quickshifter, heated grips, auto-cancelling indicators, Emergency Stop Signal, cruise control and Honda RoadSync connectivity.

Honda WN7

Making its global debut at EICMA, the Honda WN7 is Hondas first full-sized electric motorcycle. Under the tagline of Be the wind, the all-new bike has been developed to offer the refined, quiet and smooth ride - with instant acceleration - that only EVs can provide. At the same time, extensive testing on Europe roads help to ensure the Honda WN7 has all the Honda hallmarks of riding enjoyment, balance and poise.

Built around a 9.3kWh lithium-ion battery and 18kW motor*, the Honda WN7 is A2 licence compliant, and offers the convenience of a 140km range and - in addition to home charging - compatibility with the CCS2 car charging infrastructure which allows a 20% to 80% charge in 30 minutes.

The Honda WN7s technical specification includes full LED lighting with a unique DRL signature, frameless chassismultiple power modes, Regenerative Deceleration Selector, forward/reverse Walking Speed Mode, Selectable Speed Limit Assist (SSLA), Cornering ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

The slim, futuristic design language is complemented by a new Honda logo, and fittingly for such a ground-breaking machine, the arrival of the Honda WN7 comes at the same time as a new EV branding for Hondas two-wheeled line-up.

V3R 900E Compressor Prototype

Also part of Hondas comprehensive EICMA 2025 line-up is the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype, which - in a world first for motorcycles* - is powered by a new V3 engine with electronically-controlled compressor. The V3 engine is a development of the V3 Internal Combustion Engine Concept shown at EICMA 2024. The water-cooled engine with 75 degree V-angle has a displacement of 900cc and will deliver performance on a par with a standard 1200cc engine, due to the adoption of the electronically-controlled compressor, which is able to precisely control engine boost to deliver high-response torque at any engine speed.

The prototype itself has been developed under the concept of Non-rail Rollercoaster, signifying Hondas intention of creating a model with the dual characteristics of promised thrills and absolute peace of mind. The body features asymmetrical side fairings, while the tank emblem debuts the new Honda Flagship Wing design, which will be gradually introduced on top-tier models starting next year. Development will continue to create a motorcycle that offers unprecedented riding enjoyment, excitement and joy of ownership.

Honda E-Clutch line-up expands to 26YM XL750 Transalp, CB750 Hornet, NX500, CBR500R and CB500F Hornet

For 26YM, the Honda E-Clutch system - first launched on the 4-cylinder CBR650R and CB650R middleweights in 2024 - will be available for the first time as an option on five more models.

Operating faster and more smoothly than a quickshifter, the unique system provides next level sporty riding. It also offers simplicity of operation, because pulling away, stopping and shifting gear require no use of the clutch lever the rider simply operates the shift pedal to change gear; additional versatility is guaranteed by the ability to use the clutch lever if desired.

The Transalp and Hornet see the Honda E-Clutch arrive on models with Throttle-by-Wire for the first time. This allows the system to blip the throttle, matching engine revs to rear wheel speed for even smoother down shifting. For the Transalp, another performance boost is smooth upshifts while the rear wheel is spinning when off-road: Honda E-Clutch with Throttle by Wire is able to operate with appropriate control based on the monitoring of front and rear wheel speed.

The Honda E-Clutch system will also be available for the first time as an option on three popular 500cc models the CB500 Hornet, NX500 and CBR500R. Its combination of sportiness, simple usability and versatility will open up new aspects of the riding experience for the wide range of riders who enjoy these perennially popular machines. It also marks the first time Honda E-Clutch will be available on A2 licence-friendly models, making the performance advantage available to more young riders across Europe.

SH125i

Reimagined for 26YM, Europes most popular scooter, the SH125i introduces sharper looks, a new light signature and a five-inch TFT monitor, further enhancing its enduring appeal. The new front end takes inspiration from the established SH350i, unifying the range and providing a strong visual identity for the trio built at the Atessa factory in Italy. With a one line design from front to rear, the 26YM SHs are instantly recognisable thanks to a simplicity that retains the SH essence while noticeably moving it on from the outgoing model.

An SH150 version will also be available in certain countries.

CB1000F arrives, alongside a host of new colours

Also on display at EICMA will be the CB1000F, Hondas new, retro-inspired performance machine with a character all of its own. The CB1000F is an easy-handling, big naked that ticks all the right boxes thanks to its evocative styling, rich specification sheet and dynamics that pack a punch thanks to its Fireblade-derived engine.

New colours will also be on display for the NC750X crossover machine, the head of the family SH350 and the flagship tourers the Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour, as the iconic name heads into its sixth decade of production.

26YM Honda apparel launch

Rounding out Hondas presence at EICMA 2025 is an expanded and evolved range of official Honda branded apparel. Available at the show, the new collection draws inspiration from a number of areas from Hondas illustrious history such as iconic models, product families and motorsport history. The full collection will be available from spring 2026.

Kuromi collaboration

A further point of interest at Hondas EICMA booth will be two motorcycles with unique wrapping featuring the popular character Kuromi. Created in collaboration with Sanrio Co., Ltd. as a bespoke EICMA offering, a purple and pink CB750 Hornet and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade in Kuromis signature black and purple colour palette are an indication of Hondas ongoing commitment to generate interest in motorcycling among the widest possible customer base.

        A STORY OF DESIGN

Motorcycles are more than transport. They are about human connection, experience and adventure. Behind every new motorcycle there are also people. This is their world, and these are their words.

        Design Philosophy

Paolo Cuccagna, Design Director

Challenge and be bold. This is what drives us to reach our customers heart, with the sheer joy and simplicity at the centre of our designs.

        Design Process

Valerio Aiello, Styling Section Manager

We looked, with respect, to Hornets past and found a new, contemporary expression of technical beauty with the lines, shaping and surfaces in compact, elegant proportions.

        Styling Realisation

Giovanni Dovis, Designer

The main signature of the Hornet concept is the fuel tank, inspired by a hornets wing. There are hallmarks of tension and aggression found throughout, outlining true performance intent.

        Development Process

Masatoshi Sato, Large Project Leader (LPL)

We start with desire. The passion to push whats possible, what can be done. Performance, of course is important to a bike but so is style. And how it makes you feel.

<title>The Dax bounds back into Honda’s European motorcycle range</title>
    <link>https://www.staffordshirehonda.co.uk/news/the-dax-bounds-back-into-hondas-european-motorcycle-range</link>
    <description>
After an absence of 41yrs, the Honda Dax is set to finally return to Europe, joining the Monkey and the MSX125 Grom in Hondas unique mini-bike line-up.

With its iconic pressed steel T-shaped frame, no other motorcycle, big or small, cuts the same shape as the Dax. The frame, which extends from under the seat to the chrome handlebars, is reminiscent of a Dachshund with its short legs and long body, which led to the naming of the original ST50 Dax in 1969.

The 23YM Dax keeps the unmistakeable, iconic look of the original, with the frame (which also houses the fuel tank) providing plenty of strength for two up riding. Suspension is taken care of by 31mm USD forks matched to twin rear shocks. Completing the classic look, these are paired to blacked out 12in mini-bike wheels, complete with fat, balloon-like tyres which allow effortless around-town agility. Lighting is full LED and the Dax features a striking, compact negative LCD display, chrome handlebars and pillion grab rail.

Delivering smooth power and torque from the EURO5 compliant 124cc SOHC two valve, air- cooled engine, the Dax features a centrifugal clutch and four speed gearbox for relaxed, enjoyable riding, solo or two up.

The 23YM Dax will be available in two dynamic colour options: Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Cadet Grey, complete with both a classic Honda Wing logo and a model logo featuring the eponymous canine.
