Honda EV Range

Honda’s 2026 Electric Two-Wheeler Line-Up: WN7, CUV e: & EM1 e:

POSTED: 17/11/2025

Honda’s shift to electrified two-wheeler mobility takes a meaningful step in 2026, with the arrival of three distinct electric models: the full-size electric motorcycle WN7, the urban commuter scooter CUV e:, and the entry-level EM1 e:. Together they mark the transition from pilot EVs toward an actual electric range.

WN7 – The Flagship Electric Streetfighter

The WN7 stands as the headline act of Honda’s 2026 EV expansion-a fully fledged electric streetfighter built with the performance, presence, and precision normally reserved for petrol-powered midweight motorcycles. Designed as a “big bike first, electric second,” the WN7 delivers authentic motorcycle dynamics with instant torque, advanced rider aids, and fast-charging capability that makes daily electric riding realistic. It’s Honda’s boldest statement yet that the future of performance riding doesn’t have to burn a drop of fuel.

Key Details:

  • Powered by a fixed lithium-ion battery of around 9.3 kWh.
  • Claimed range around 140 km under WMTC testing for the higher-output version.
  • Equipped with CCS2 fast-charging, capable of charging from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes using a suitable DC charger.
  • Motor delivers up to 50 kW peak power and around 100 Nm of torque depending on version.
  • Top speed approximately 129 km/h in the full-power configuration, with an A1-compliant variant offering slightly lower output.
  • Equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, multiple riding modes (Standard, Sport, Rain/Econ), traction control and Honda RoadSync connectivity.
  • Built on a full motorcycle chassis including Showa suspension, Nissin brakes with cornering ABS, and belt final drive.

The WN7 marks Honda’s move into performance-capable electric motorcycles rather than low-speed urban EVs, giving riders a real alternative to mid-capacity petrol bikes.

CUV e: – The Smart, Urban Multi-Role Commuter

Purpose-built for the future of city travel, the CUV e: is Honda’s intelligent solution for the modern commuter. Balancing swappable-battery convenience with the speed and stability needed for real urban mobility, it occupies the sweet spot between lightweight mopeds and conventional 125cc scooters. With smooth acceleration, advanced connectivity, and a design shaped for dense city environments, the CUV e: is the practical electric tool that fits effortlessly into everyday life.

Key Details:

  • Produces up to 6 kW of power and around 22 Nm of torque.
  • Top speed around 83 km/h, making it suitable for city ring roads and mixed urban traffic.
  • Uses two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: swappable batteries, totalling roughly 2.6 kWh.
  • Offers a range above 70 km in WMTC testing.
  • A full charge for each removable battery takes approximately 6 hours, with mid-range top-ups taking less.
  • Features include a flat floor, LED lighting, smart key, and updated Honda RoadSync connectivity.
  • Designed for practicality with generous storage options and a tight turning radius for dense city environments.

This model is aimed at commuters who want higher performance than the EM1 e: but still value the convenience of removable batteries.

EM1 e: – The Friendly, Accessible City Starter EV

The EM1 e: remains Honda’s most approachable electric two-wheeler, compact, simple, and perfectly suited to short, frequent urban trips. Light, quiet, and easy to handle, it offers a gentle entry into electric riding for students, inner-city commuters, and newcomers to two wheels. With a removable battery, effortless charging, and zero-hassle maintenance, the EM1 e: is designed to make electric mobility as straightforward as possible.

Key Details:

  • Powered by a hub motor producing around 1.7 kW peak power and roughly 90 Nm of wheel torque.
  • Equipped with a single Mobile Power Pack e: removable battery weighing about 10 kg.
  • Range is approximately 30 km WMTC, with up to around 48 km in ECON mode under Honda internal testing.
  • Charging time from 0–100% is around 6 hours using the standard home charger.
  • Light, compact and agile, with a kerb weight around 95 kg including the battery.
  • Very city-friendly with a low seat height, simple controls and quiet operation.

The EM1 e: is sharply focused on short-distance commuting, student travel, or daily trips within dense urban areas.
